Isabel Moreno
Isabel Moreno has dedicated over a decade to her journey in dance, building a strong foundation through her training at esteemed institutions such as Citrus Heights Dance Academy and Divergence Dance Conservatory. Her growth as a versatile artist has been shaped under the mentorship of Felicia Fry at Divergence Dance Conservatory. Under Felicia's expert guidance, Isabel has honed her technique across various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap, within a nurturing and collaborative environment.
A standout element of Isabel's artistry is her exceptional talent in tap dance. She has trained extensively with Angela Barker and Keyla Parker, two highly respected tap instructors, who have helped her develop the precision, rhythm, and musicality that make her an extraordinary performer and educator in this genre.
Isabel's dedication to her craft extends to achievements in classical ballet training, where she has successfully completed Cecchetti Standard 6 and Grade 8 examinations. She further refined her technical and artistic skills through participation in Cecchetti USA (CUSA) summer intensives, which are recognized for their rigorous training and emphasis on artistry.
Beyond her performance capabilities, Isabel has a deep passion for teaching and choreography. Her years of teaching experience reflect her ability to inspire and guide young dancers with patience and creativity. She has earned her Teaching Certificate from Cecchetti USA, demonstrating her commitment to education and the dissemination of her knowledge in classical ballet, which is recognized internationally.
Isabel’s passion for dance extends beyond the studio; it drives her academic ambitions. She plans to study kinesiology with the goal of becoming a physical therapist, a path inspired by her love for teaching and her desire to help dancers understand and care for their bodies. Isabel is deeply committed to combining her expertise in dance with her future knowledge of kinesiology to foster healthier, more sustainable practices for dancers of all levels.
With her broad training, exceptional talent in tap dance, and commitment to education and physical well-being, Isabel Moreno is poised to make a lasting impact as both an artist and an advocate for dancer health.
